The historic Nestlé Farm in Carnation Washington is an ideal location for a community-based compost facility. They plan to become a zero-waste property which supports organic farming and serves farm to table meals for special events. The board recently voted unanimously to move forward with Aveterra in designing a compost facility on their expansive 818-acre site.
